Thursday February 15, 2024 I haven’t seen our baby feral kitten Toothless for a few days but I honestly think he is just hiding. The cat food is disappearing too quickly and I know how much our 3 cats eat. I’ve been reading more about the real Toothless (real as in the movie, not real real) and I am watching the movie “How to Train your Dragon” all over again. Anyway, the Real Toothless did have retractable teeth! Kind of like cats have retractable claws. Cool, huh? So the point is if I was crazy enough to try to pick him up, I do believe I’d see how sharp those teeth are, retractable or not! Ha.
Cat thought #2. Do you remember the Cheshire cat from the Disney version of Alice in Wonderland? Well I don’t know if it’s that I have cats on the brain lately but wow it sure looked like the Cheshire Cat sitting in our front tree this week! (photo below).
Cat thought #3 Since I probably do have cats on my mind more than before, I am making Cat Mats! Thick cushy felted alpaca fibers cut in a 12 x 18 inch rectangle to provide a sweet spot for your cat to chill. I have 3 in the cat house now and they all prefer the alpaca mat to any other cushion or mat I’ve tried. They will be in the store by the weekend. 😁
