Groundhog day!

Friday February 2, 2024  Well, the ground hog did not see his shadow. So you know what that means, right?  Nothing!  haha, His accuracy rate over the years is only 40%!  So he’s right in line with the weather forecasters which all seems quite appropriate. Watch the birds, look out the window and you’ll probably have a better idea when spring might arrive.

I have no groundhog photo to share but I do have some pup pics. Belle went to the groomer this week and got clipped down and as a result I got to fulfill a fantasy of putting clothes on a dog! She wore one of my sweatshirts for most of the day, she was a little chilly.  The hood eventually flipped over her head, she walked into a wall so we decided that was enough fun for the day. The groomer left her eyelashes this time, which are incredibly long, see pics below.  Banjo adores her with or without her fluff and is glad he doesn’t need to get his hair cut.

It’s snowing here this morning and the birds at my feeder tell me it will snow for most of the day. They know!  Happy Friday and thanks for checking in.

Photos of the day:  Sharing clothes with my pup.  😂

Banjo loves her with or without clothes. hehe

Banjo on his favorite sofa.

Memories of the gentle boy and the alpacas pop up frequently. I’m so grateful we were able to give him so many years with them.

Even though his hair went from straight to curly, he is still a gentle soul.  He just won a “compassion award” at his school this week.  #grateful

Ah yes, the weather rock! I haven’t been out there in a while, so I use the birds at the feeder instead.

Ahhh! The gentile boy! I’m not surprised that he won a compassion award. You have always described him that way. And how grown up he looks.

The photos with him and the animals just warm my heart. And OF COURSE he received a Compassion Award
