Tuesday, October 10, 2023 Just back from a refreshing trip to New Mexico! I found it a little too painful to look out my windows with the animals not there, so off we went. Thanks Farmer Ed for taking me to my happy place, Santa Fe! Shopping there is definitely better with my sis and my daughter but he really did OK for a guy and even took me to all my favorite shops. We also went to a Fiber Festival right in Santa Fe and I felt at home. Alpacas, llamas, and all kinds of fibery goodness. I stocked up on some wonderful doll hair from an Angora breeder and I’m anxious to start a new doll. But now I’m home and its time to face those empty pastures. I do have some pasture clean up to deal with and that is where I’ll start. I need to be patient with myself, it’s been a huge change and it will take a while before I am back to feeling normal.
Thanks as always for checking in. 😊
Photo of the day: Of course I’d find myself next to the alpacas. They were at the Mountain and Valley Wool Market.

Is it a bad sign that I spelled my own name wrong? Ha Ha…
Linda
Not a bad sign at all. ‘s’ is right next to ‘a’ on the keyboard so it’s an honest mistake!

Oh Linda, I bet the amazing alpaca family and the beautiful doggies are so missing you too. Big hugs. Carol.
Linda
Thanks Carol. Hugs back to you!
