Cloudy skies

Thursday, June 8, 2023  In 2020 on June 8 it snowed, so we will not be whining about a little rain here!  At least our air is pretty clean and I hurt for anyone breathing the smoke from the Canadian wild fires. Some of the pictures I saw in New York looked like an apocalypse. But let’s also remember the Canadians – as of yesterday an estimated 26,000 people remain evacuated from their homes. Prayers for all and let’s hope they can get the fires under control soon.  If you are breathing clean air today be grateful for that. We are.  Have a good Thursday.

Our part of southwestern Ontario (midway between Buffalo NY & Detroit Mich.) hasn’t been too bad, some hazy skies. This morning was the first time I could smell the smoke in the air, amazing since the fires are a distance away. I do hope with the extra forest fire fighting help coming in that further damage to the ground & the atmosphere will be averted. Thank you for thinking of your far north neighbours. Will be thinking of you & all at Blue Moon this busy shearing weekend. Take care.
