Friday, May 26, 2023 I guess it’s the start of the holiday weekend and I’m wondering if these daily rains will stop long enough for people to get out and enjoy their activities. We have a big tour scheduled for tomorrow and if it’s raining, we’ll hang in the barn with the alpacas. We had visitors on Wednesday and all of a sudden the alpacas all bolted for the barn so I explained how they predict the rain better than the forecasters. It’s true, 2 or 3 minutes before a rain, they will all get under shelter. Indeed it did start raining in a few minutes. Smart pacas. Happy Friday!

Animals have super powers when it comes to weather. My collie Roy started climbing under the covers about a half hour before thunder and lightning, And of course, I always wondered what was going on until the storm hit.
