Winter Continues …

Tuesday, April 4, 2023  The fencing has disappeared again with a new foot of snow, so the guardians are back in the garage for now.  After tomorrow the forecast looks pretty good so maybe we’ll make some progress with slow melting. So many dogs are running loose because of the snow burying fences and neighbors are threatening to shoot. I kid you not. So our dogs will enjoy a few more days of garage life before we let them back to work. Banjo says he can watch pretty well from his new snow pile so he feels helpful.  lol   He does love the snow but more than that he wants to be on my lap.   Happy Tuesday!

Usually we are starting to see grass by this time of year. This winter has been like no other. I’ll be happy to put it behind me!

You would think the neighbors would have a little bit of understanding of the situation right now. What happened to extending a bit of patience and kindness?

I know. It makes me very sad. SSS is the old way around here. Shoot Shovel and Shut up. 😟

    And our snowblower broke yesterday!

I totally understand the anger over loose dog issue. Our neighbor does not watch their lab and he is chasing the deer every chance he gets. It is all a big game to him. (He has NOT hurt any of them) But the deer do not need this kind of stress.

It’s been hard for everyone. Dogs, deer and people! But I do not approve of people letting dogs run loose, that’s why mine are confined to the garage. Shooting dogs however seems a bit extreme.

LOL – well it’s a good thing that Banjo has their backs!
