Saturday, April 1, 2023 April Fool’s Day? Haha. No jokes from me today. Real life is crazy enough these days and I’m having a hard time finding the humor! But beware of pranksters today, they’ll be everywhere.
We did get the gentle boy yesterday afternoon once the roads cleared enough for safe travel and it’s so good to have him here! Geneva, our gray alpaca has had a crush on him since she was a cria. She heard his voice and ran out of the barn to see if it was really him. She couldn’t take her eyes off him. It’s really kind of sweet and I don’t think I’ve seen this kind of behavior before with any other alpacas.
We might be trying the white dogs out with the herd today. Since we have a healthy young helper who can run through deep snow if needed, it seems like a good day to try. I’ll let you now tomorrow how that goes! Happy Saturday!
