Saturday, March 25, 2023 The calendar says we’re inching toward April but it sure feels like January here. Single digit night time temps plus 6+ inches of new snow is forcing our hand with the dogs once again. We had planned to let them out today but the fences are all walk over height again so we’ll have to wait. All the melting progress we had made was erased by this last storm. On a better note, Utah officially achieved its record snowpack yesterday. And that will certainly help with the drought situation. As always I look for things to be grateful for and the peaceful scene just outside the girls’ barn caught my eye yesterday. Hope you enjoy the photo of the day. Happy Saturday.

I like the proportions on this photo. I am no expert, but you have successfully emphasized the barn, trees, and dramatic sky. It’s all a bit off center which also makes it interesting. I think my photography workshop leader called it the law of thirds mastered.
