Tuesday, March 7, 2023 No more new snow overnight! No melting either, but every little bit helps. We almost let the guardian dogs out yesterday but after we looked at those teeny tiny fences we decided against it. We moved both cars out of the garage so they do have room to play in there and they seem to be resigned to their temporary housing situation. Farmer Ed did repair and reconnect every little bit of hot wire fencing, which is a huge task in the middle of a winter like were having. He’s my hero! So we’re taking it once hour at a time, assessing the snow levels, the dogs attitudes and making decisions as we go. One of these days soon I feel confident we’ll have the guardians reunited with their herd and staying where they belong. Until then we’re trying to make the best of a very challenging situation.
