Dog dynamics

And Cassie, our special house guest adds one more layer to the activity. Actually shoveling the dog door out wouldn’t be that hard, but the whole backyard is so full of snow it would be too easy for Blue and Banjo to reach each other over the fence.  And since our New Year’s Day fiasco, we’re keeping those two boys a safe distance apart.  I marvel every day watching Blue and Juno race on their snow paths to the far edges of the property to let any potential intruders who’s in charge here.  Have a good Monday!

Photo of the day:  He’s got his eye on something in the distance. Not only does Blue’s coat keep him warm, it would make it hard for any predator (or Banjo) to bite through all that hair!

Any ideas what might have happened here? There’s a story hidden in those marks I’m sure.

Yeah, I knew what made the marks but I’m wondering what story it tells. Big bird eats little bird? Mating dance of 2 birds?
