Monday, January 9, 2023 Farmer Ed has been doing most of the chores around here until my hand heals. But I do put my coat on (which is not as easy as you might think) and go out to the barn to help distribute hay with one hand and just sit with the animals. I tried staying in the house but I am happiest outside with the animals no matter the weather. The guardian dogs are pretty independent, but they do love my attention. Last night I sat with Blue on my left side and Juno on my right side and we just enjoyed each other’s company until it got too dark. Even my injured hand works for petting a dog. I have no doubt that the peaceful feeling I have while sitting in the barn will help with the healing of my hand. #barnmagic Have a good Monday!
