Thursday, December 30, 2022 I am happy to report that the company who sold us the live lobsters from Maine have graciously refunded the entire amount of the purchased and were extremely apologetic. If ever you do decide to order live lobsters to be shipped anywhere around the country I highly recommend you use this company: The Lobster Guy! PS Also get the shipping insurance!
More snow for us today and I’ve had to give up on cleaning the barn so we’ll now embrace to wonder of deep bedding til we can clean it out in the spring. The stemmy hay that gets left in the feeders will now be added on top of the indoor “bean piles” and create a cozy decomposing bedding place. It creates just a bit of heat and a dry soft place when all alpacas are sleeping inside to avoid a storm. Oh I’ll have my work cut out for me in March or April, but that’s why we have a tractor!
