Christmas Eve!

Saturday, December 24, 2022  Happy Christmas Eve! Our company party was so much fun last night. We had several nominees for employee of the year so we had 3 awards.  Juno (who now has an official name of Juno Heintz Gardner) got the award for most improved employee.  We’ll share that news with her this morning, since she was working last night.  Our employee of the year last year (the gentle boy) nominated his grandfather as “most valuable” employee for 2022 because of “his extreme hard work and overcoming of obstacles”  <his words>. I mean how could I not honor that request? ❤️  And Farmer Ed also nominated the gentle boy as most helpful employee, so we had to acknowledge that as well.  Hey, I just print the certificates and get to sign them as president. 😊 But everyone was happy and it was a fun evening.

I’m trying not to fret about the fact that our Christmas Eve/Christmas day dinner is stuck in the Midwest storm.  I ordered live lobsters and oysters from Maine and they were to be shipped overnight, scheduled to arrive yesterday. They are currently stuck in Kentucky. We will have to be resourceful and come up with Plan B.  First world problem for sure.

I hope you enjoy today with all it’s wonder. Hugs to those that need one.

Merry Christmas Eve and congratulations to all the “winners”. I guess as boss and official employer, you are not eligible. We honor you each and every day when we receive your lovely blog with all kinds of good cheer! Congrats to you Linda, the thread that brings all together!

Merry Christmas! You, your photos and blog give so much pleasure to so many all year long. Thank you!
So sorry about your food not making it! Maybe a New Year celebration!

Thanks Kathie! Our lobsters are still stuck in transit. I doubt they will be edible when (if) they arrive. But my daughter made soup and it was delish!
