Talking to animals

Friday, November 18, 2022  Do you talk to animals?  Do you think they understand? Well, if you yammer on about politics or things like that I’m pretty sure they’ll tune you out, but if you are really speaking to them, they hear it. I recently had a conversation with one of our alpaca boys and I know by his behavior after the conversation that he listened and understood.  And then there’s Juno.  Blue eats slow and she finishes every bit of her bowl in record time and then….it’s our time while Blue finishes eating. I always tell her how smart she is and then how brave she is and then how beautiful she is. And she loves every word and I think she knows exactly what I’m telling her.  Taking some time to talk to animals is good for you, try it if you can.  Happy Friday!

Linda, I have always spoken to all of my animals because I also believe that they understand us. It is also very good therapy for you and for them.

I agree 👍🏼. I have always talked to my animals, some of them learned very well to talk back ( my Amazon Parrot, Chaquita)! I even talked to my plants and I am positive that they also respond. Happy “Everything to be Grateful for” day!💜
