Where’s Juno?

Saturday, November 12, 2022  Well today’s the big day and as we hoped, it’s not snowing!  There is snow on the ground however, so if you are coming, boots are highly recommended. We have fencing ready for you to walk through the pastures but they are slightly snow-covered. Temps will be in the upper 30’s so it might be slushy. Your pretty white tennis shoes will look kind of sad after a day in the slush. Not to mention your feet will be freezing.

It’s getting so dark so early! I checked the barn cams last night a little after 6 and all the alpacas were settled in for the night.  And of course they don’t do the silly time change so that’s part of it! I always check to see where the guardian dogs are and I was surprised that none of them had claimed the hay feeder for a bed. Then I looked closer and I saw Juno’s new hiding spot/bed. Can you see her?

Photo of the Day:   Where’s Juno? Safe and warm with easy access to predator threats. Smart girl.
