Monday, November 7, 2022 Our snow is almost all melted! But I think these warm winds will bring in one more storm this week and honestly I love a little bit of white on the ground when we have visitors. So keep your boots at the ready and we’ll update conditions closer to next weekend.
If you know me, you know I’m not overly fond of people just showing up in our driveway. Blame it on my Chicago upbringing but I like to know when people are coming. So imagine my surprise when I heard Ed talking to a car in the driveway at 9:30 PM (formerly known as 10:30 PM) Yes I was asleep. She was maybe lost but also wanted to know the price of alpacas. ????? Get out. Gates are locked, dogs are on alert and we are not taking drop in visitors when we prefer to be sleeping! ugh She finally left and we all eventually got back to sleep.
Today I get to do whatever I want because it’s my birthday so I guess I’ll do what I do every day! I do count my blessings often and my every day life is at the top of the list. To be able to do what I love every day, to be surrounded by animals, to have a loving husband, to have kids and grandkids who are happy and healthy, what more could anyone want? #grateful
