Fall meets Winter

posted in: Uncategorized | 2

Sunday, October 23, 2022   Fall and winter shook hands last night as the landscape turned to white. Tree branches are touching the ground this morning burdened with all their leaves and heavy wet snow, but I haven’t seen any that snapped.  We’ll gently shake some of the snow off and help them slowly return to upright. I think we got about 5 inches which will help the ground moisture before it freezes.  We’ll have more lovely fall days ahead I’m sure but it was nice to have a visit from old man winter.   Enjoy your Sunday!

Photos of the Day:   Belle was so happy when the snow started last night she even smiled.

Alpacas all tucked in as the snow continues this morning.

Trees touching the ground but not snapped.

We know how to do winter here. 😊

Wow, you do get it early! But it sure is pretty. Glad it’s not hurting the tree branches.

Thanks Lana. Lucky for me I do love winter because at this altitude it does seem to last a very long time!
