Sunday, September 18, 2022   Yesterday was a perfect day for skirting more fleeces so of course I did!  I even had to grab my coat at one point but I was happy to do so. I listened to many sand hill cranes flying over head as they start their fall migration and I heard a woodpecker in the tree that was sharing it’s shade with me. I heard a rustling over my head and wondered if the woodpecker was coming closer, and I was surprised to see my Garbo Girl barn cat right over my head!  She was climbing in the tree (hopefully not after the woodpecker) and was enjoying the day as much as I was.  Then I noticed Bogart watching from the fence just as Odin came to take his place on the bench near the skirting table.  I enjoyed working on 2 more fleeces all in the company of our 3 barn cats. When they were kittens they would jump right up on the fleeces to “help”, I think I’m glad they just like to watch now.  Have a good Sunday!

Photo of the Day:  Garbo wonders if she gets some of that fleece for her winter bed.

Bogart likes his place in the sun.

And Odin tried really hard to keep his eyes open.  lol, he was sleeping shortly after this shot.

Garbo is so beautiful up in that tree. What a gorgeous coat she has. Such a nice way to skirt fleeces. 🙂

Thanks Lana. Garbo is growing her winter coat now and she reminds me about 20 times every day that she needs more food to do so. 😂
