Tuesday, July 12, 2022 I wonder if Odin was waiting for the hay delivery to return home? All 3 barn cats are so happy when we get the new hay stacked and their perching places increase tenfold. Nooks and crannies and high up comfy places are just what they love. The first photo is just one of 3 hay barns and they are all choosing their favorite spots.
Juno’s mild encounter with a skunk at 2:00 a.m. will remind us never to forget to close the gate to the new property again. I could tell from her barking that something was wrong and I decided to go out and investigate. My nose told me pretty quickly what was going on. Pewwww! She was only lightly sprayed and mostly bothered that her hunting was interrupted by the smell. She’s smelling better already. Happy Tuesday!

She is so lucky it was from a distance. We’ve had dogs sprayed much worse. Blue got a little bit too so they were happy to enjoy each other’s company for the rest of the night.
