Monday, July 4, 2022 Happy 4th of July! Local fireworks continue to terrify the animals but we made it a fun day nonetheless. Early this spring we fenced off the girls’ favorite pasture to let it rest and reseed it. The alpacas were not happy about our plan but they got used to it. The grass recovered nicely and Farmer Ed had to start mowing it! So we decided to let them have their land back and there was much celebrating! We’re calling it alpaca freedom day!
