Tuesday, May 24, 2022 I decided to get some halter work done with the “babies” last weekend since the weather was agreeable and I had my best trainer spending the weekend! The girls, Ruthie and Raina did OK inside the barn and went totally nuts when we took them out into the barn yard. lol Benjamin did great however. I trimmed the fleece under his chin so his halter would fit better and he was the calmest of the 3 when we were out of the barn. Maybe it was his calm handler? 😊 Benji soon learned that if he took a step when asked, the pressure was released from the halter. It’s a cool thing to watch when the baby finally gets it; one step at a time and eventually they’re walking right next to you. #makingmemories #alpacawhisperer #grateful Happy Tuesday!
