Saturday, May 21, 2022 Farmer Ed and I got our boosters on Thursday and we were feeling a little extra tired and achy on Friday. But guess who wanted to come “take care of us”? Yes, our grandson AKA the Gentle boy. So we picked him up after school on Friday and we have our built in helper here for the weekend. He does know the routines around here better than anyone else and he even said he’d cook if I’d talk him through it. What a kid. ❤️ We’re actually feeling fine today but will enjoy having live in help for the weekend.
Our temps did drop down to 19° last night and we even had snow yesterday to make it a very cold Friday. I’m grateful for every cold day between now and shearing day to help keep the herd comfortable.
