Growing fleeces

posted in: Uncategorized | 3

Monday, May 16, 2022   What do alpacas do all day? Eat, chew cud, poop, repeat. And all the while growing fleece for our annual harvest.  We grow the grass and they turn it into fleece. It reminds me of the story Rumpelstiltskin who spun straw into gold. ✨The fleeces are long and heavy now so we’ll be careful to keep the alpacas cool until shearing day. It seems we went from cold and snow to too warm over night. I miss spring. I will have fleeces for sale this yer.Let me know if you’re interested. Happy Monday!

My goodness, she is beautiful. I will want a scarf or shawl made from her fleece 💜

Agree with Sunny; she really is beautiful! And I also would like to make something from her fleece. 🙂
