Cabin fever?

Wednesday, March 16, 2022  I think the alpacas have cabin fever or maybe I should call it barn fever. They are tired of being in the barn. Also one of them found a blade of grass growing and told all the others so they are now on the hunt for fresh food. The boys have more room to wander and I’ve seen them in the far corners of their pastures as well.  The girls gather at the pipe fence and nibble at whatever green is coming up there, but most gates will remain closed until the grass has a chance to grow a bit.

The sand-hill cranes are returning and I love to sit outside and listen to their calls. My favorite Blue Heron flew right over my head yesterday too. I just stop and marvel at the wonder of it all. #grateful  Happy Wednesday.

I love a sandhill symphony! I usually hear them before I see them.
