Thursday, February 24, 2022 11 below zero is a bit colder than we need right now but that’s what we got. Brrrr. I fed all the alpacas inside their barns yesterday to keep all of them and their body heat in one place and they can just get their vitamin D another day. They all made the wise choice to stay in the barns last night and keep each other warm. The cats each have their own heat lamps and looked pretty content when I left the barn last night. The dogs sleep in the hay with the alpacas and they get extra food on these super cold days. I see a slight warming trend ahead and it will be most welcome. Stay warm everyone!
