Friday, February 11, 2022 I’ve been spending quiet time this week in my studio creating my first spirit doll of 2022. I used to begin with the medicine bundle which holds the intention for the doll and the new keeper, but lately I’ve tried starting with the head first. I like the head and face to help me with creating the doll and this works best for the process. I used 5 of the rose quartz we found on the property last month. dried mint from a wild mint patch across the bridge and one calendula flower. The scent of the mint as I started poking the fibers around this bundle together was divine. I love making these dolls and I’m grateful for the hours spent at the doll making table. Life is good, happy Friday!
