Grateful for the guardians

Sunday, January 30, 2022  Another crisp and cold winter day here, nothing like what is happening on the east Coast!  To our friends in the East – stay warm and be safe.  Animals must be fed and watered in all kinds of weather and I’ll remember to be extra grateful for our blue skies today.

Blue has recovered from his gluttony episode and Juno is glad to have him back full time. They were both warning something away from the fence at 5 am and I will check for footprints out there today.  It sounded quite serious and I’m glad they handled it together. A neighbor reported a cougar near that corner a few weeks ago at 5:30 am. He said he had to stop his car to avoid hitting it. 👀  That is why I’m always glad to hear the dogs barking together.  #gratefulfortheguardians

Photo of the Day:  Garbo enjoys a nap in the sun on her favorite hay bale.  She know the guardian dogs keep her safe too.

A cougar, wow! Glad you have those two to warn the big cat (or whatever) away. It was nasty here in NH yesterday – very cold with high winds blowing the snow. Thank goodness for ski clothes, hand warmers and alpaca socks to keep us warm during chores. Alpacas stayed in the barns. They don’t like the wind. Garbo is so handsome.

You’ve been on my mind Lana. Glad to hear you are doing OK. Mine also stay in when the wind howls. Garbo says thanks. Her full name is Greta Garbo. She is the boss of the boy cats. lol

I love Garbo. I think the next cat we get will be named Garbo. Such a classy name!
    Glad Blue is doing well.
