Tuesday, December 21, 2021 Happy Winter Solstice! Even though the coldest part of winter will be coming in the next 2 months, it warms my heart to know that starting today, the sun will be up for a few seconds longer each day, signaling the start of our slow but steady march toward spring. I’m sure everyone appreciates more daylight at the end of their day but for those of us who tend to animals outside the difference is huge.
I hope you enjoy the light on this shortest day of the year. Below is one of my favorite holiday decorations. Fill a mason jar with fresh cranberries and stick and candle in it.
