Friday, December 10, 2021 A lovely snow fell all day long, the alpacas and Blue got soaked but were happy. The alpacas came out of the barn mid morning and decided they’d just stay out. This was not my preference but to lock them in all day made so sense either. So they ran and cavorted and Blue used his nose as a snow shovel to toss the white fluff in the air. They all looked quite bedraggled at the end of the day, but they did enjoy the snow. All the alpacas chose to sleep in the barn last night and I guess they had a good day. I hope Juno likes snow as much as Blue does. She was born last August and lives in Northern Arizona so I bet she hasn’t ever seen snow. At 4 months, she’s still a baby so I will confine her to the barn when I think that needs to happen. We have a cozy pen all set up for her. Can’t wait til Sunday morning when she arrives.
