Our 4 legged house guest

Sunday, November 14, 2021  When our Boulder Utah kids come home, they always bring their big white dog Cassie.  She fits through the dog door and makes herself right at home. She was born to a shepherd near here and we helped rehome her a few years ago, and she is a perfect match for our son and daughter in law. You can read her story here.  She is interested in our big white guardian dogs, but she really needs her people too much to be a full time guardian. She’s a perfect hiking buddy for our kids though!  And we’re always glad when she visits.

I remember the story of rehoming Cassie. She couldn’t have had a better home – with visiting rights to Blue Moon.

She looks like our Akbash livestock guardian that we had years ago. She’s much more cuddly than he was, though. She’s so pretty and I bet she just loves the hiking! Our boy used to patrol the whole of Foss Mountain (on his own). Tho he did stay home at night to guard. I love her name. One of my Ragdolls is named Cassie. 🙂

Sweet. She is very cuddly. Our 2 Pyrs have such long hair I can sure see the advantage of a shorter hair dog.
