Gratitude

Monday, November 1, 2021  Welcome November! This is the month that many people try to incorporate gratitude into their lives. And that’s good. But why only one month I wonder? It’s such a good daily practice. The more you are grateful for the more you’ll find to be grateful for.

Yes we are very fortunate to live where we do and have our good health to continue to do this work. But it isn’t always perfect. I don’t share the bad stuff because I don’t want it to take my focus or yours.  I won’t call it “blessed”  because that makes it sound like God picked me instead of someone else and I don’t believe that.  Example: If I post a photo of my newest grandson with the hashtag #blessed, does that mean the neighbor or friend who has no grandchildren is not blessed? Ridiculous thought, so I’ll just be grateful.  And I do love November!

Photo of the Day: Yesterday afternoon as I sat on the deck and looked at the golden trees, the gorgeous blue skies and the animals I care for I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. And that’s easy because it was a good day. But even on the bad days, (yes we have them) I can find something to be grateful for. I hope you can too.
