Thursday lessons

Friday, September 24, 2021  Part of home school yesterday involved handling the alpaca babies, not a bad task at all I think. Unfortunately we found many cockle burs on Raina’s neck fleece and that involved a bit more handling that she liked. But we got them all out and she was much calmer at the end of the session. The babies all learned that being touched by humans is not a bad thing and eventually they got to go back to their mamas. I should have taken photos in the catch pen but I was too busy with what I was doing.  I did get one pic at happy hour as my best farm helper was sipping his lemonade.  Happy Friday!

Photo of the Day:  Guess who can now lift a whole bale of hay and put it in my cart?  This guy!
