Thursday, September 23, 2021 When we’ve had “challenging” years, it’s usually those adorable babies who cause me to loose sleep and question my sanity. I remember them all and I’m so grateful for the smooth birthing and baby season we had this year. All 3 babies still nurse from their moms, but they are eating hay and using the waterers and that cud chewing is pure magic. It means their rumen is developed so they are getting all the nutrition from the hay and it’s also like a little internal furnace that will help keep them warm this winter. Yay for happy healthy babies! #grateful
