Tuesday, September 7, 2021 Back to school, back to work and back to whatever keeps you going. We’ve got several projects happening at the ranch this week and I’ll be glad when we get through them all. The barn roof will finally be insulated – the metal roof bakes us in the summer and lets too much heat escape in the winter so hopefully this will help with the extreme hat and the extreme cold that coming this winter. And after 18 years we are finally having our deck/porch around the house refinished. Moving all the stuff is a chore, but it will be nice to have that done too. The boards wave been warping and tripping us – not a safe thing for the humans who live here. After this week we can go back to doing normal farm projects and enjoying the life we have.
