River Walks

Monday, September 6, 2021 We took a family walk to the river after dark to see if we could hear the owls. No owls but the river was so beautiful and we did see some night creatures scurry as we approached. Too dark to tell what they were, but they seemed happy to move on, so we didn’t worry. I might consider putting my trail cam down there to see the nighttime activity. The kokanee salmon will be starting to spawn next week so that night be attracting all kinds of wild life. It’s illegal to catch them when they are spawning but they are fun to watch. We are so fortunate to live near the Provo River and enjoy our walks there even if we didn’t hear the owls.  Happy Monday!

Photo of the day:  If we stayed long enough I bet we would have heard the owls but it was getting quite chilly, and very dark!
