Wednesday, September 1, 2021 Welcome September! Cooler days, cooler nights, and fleeces growing beautifully getting ready for winter. Our kids are here with their big white pup and all the dogs are getting plenty of exercise! Luckily we have lots of room for them to run and the dog door is being used non stop. It’s always a good day when family is here and an extra dog is just icing on the cake. Happy Wednesday!

Haha. Blue thinks house dogs are useless so he’s probably sharing that opinion with her.

What kind of dog is your visitor? He looks like an Akbash LGD we used to have. Tho our Biff was not friendly with other dogs. Or with people for that matter. Fun to see them all play.

Cassie was born to the shepherds in the mountains nearby and we ended up finding her a home with our kids when she wandered away from the sheep. She is some sort of LGD mix, probably Akbash and something else. She’s a sweet dog and loves her people more than livestock, although she does love to help Blue and Charlotte with the barking. She gets along well with all dogs and people.
