Our late bloomer

Wednesday, August 18, 2021  There was a time not so long ago that I thought our little Remy might be a tiny alpaca forever, but he’s actually maturing nicely since we’ve put him in with the bigger boys and he’s definitely growing. He’s over 2 years old so he might just be a late bloomer. He’s very confident around the older males, even more so than his brothers. Still a very sweet boy and loves to eat treats from visitors hands and I’m so glad he’s big enough to enjoy life in the bachelor herd.  He’ll always be a smaller male – like his dad Romulus and that’s just fine with us.  His yarn will be in the online store soon – it’s gorgeous!

It started raining last night and hasn’t stopped yet. Good news for the fire and for the drought.  All evacuation orders have been lifted and everyone can get back into their homes.  Thank you to all the firefighters who worked so hard to get the fire under control. 🙏

Photo of the Day:  Remy (in front) and some of the big boys. Look at that confidence!

Or maybe it’s the way he is combing his hair now. 🤣   Seriously, who did that???
