Saturday, July 31, 2021 When our afternoon rains came yesterday I decided to sit in the barn with Blue to convince him that the thunder was OK. I also thought Ciara was acting very uncomfortable and wanted to keep an eye on her. Well that discomfort was labor and we had a baby born in the barn during the rain storm! She’s a little bit darker than Ruthie but those 2 are definitely sisters. Thanks Romulus! I used a hair dryer to dry her off and she was up and nursing within an hour. Ed and I enjoyed happy hour in the barn as we watched her learn to walk. Not a bad Friday night.
