Monday, July 26, 2021 So far I am very pleased with the way Blue is acting around the new babies. Experienced LGD owners would recommend NOT having a pup under 2 in with babies because they just don’t have enough self control yet. But our set up does not really allow me to put him anywhere else and besides that I’m here all day watching. I’ve seen him nudge the babies when he thinks they need to find their mamas and then he seems pleased when they are nursing. He has been ever so gentle with them and I have no doubt he knows his job is to protect them.
Ciara looks about the same. I wonder if she’s waiting for our grandson to come back? That trick worked with the other 2! lol Happy Monday
