Monday, July 12, 2021 One question I am asked often is “What do you do with all the poop?” Well, #1 we use to to fertilize the pastures and help any soil that needs it, but we also grow Pootunias! Petunias seem to thrive when planted in alpaca bean mix (50% dirt, 50% alpaca beans) and we have the proof on our deck every year. I am often tempted and buy the ready made planters filled with petunias, (Yes, I did try one again this year) and ya know what? They don’t make it! But the ones I plant in the magic mix thrive.
