Tuesday, July 6, 2021 As we brace for another week of record breaking heat I must remember to be grateful for the cool mountain air that we enjoy every night. 55° at 7:00 am makes it possible for us to live without air conditioning and gives the animals a much needed break from the day time heat. The plan these days is to accomplish as much outdoors before noon as possible and then just wait out the hottest part of the day. And yes I am dreaming of fall!
The pregnant moms are doing OK. Our grandson made me promise to call him as soon as one appears to be in labor so he can get a ride up here and witness the big event. I’m glad he’s so interested! He has been here for a birth before and loved it.
