Sunday, July 4, 2021 Happy 4th of July! Or was that yesterday? Or is it tomorrow? LOL I guess it’s the whole 4 day weekend since no one is sure when to celebrate the 4th. 🇺🇸 So far, our neighbors seem to be listening to the requests for no fireworks (because of fire danger) which is helping to keep our animals calm. thank you! It’s going to be a hot one today so my plan is to get most chores done before 10 am. The heat takes away my ambition by about noon these days. lol Stay cool! Celebrate safely!
Photo of the Day: Blue found the coolest spot at the ranch to spend the holiday. Behind the yarn barn in the shade next to the creek – it seriously seems 10 degrees cooler there and I’ll probably share his space this afternoon.

We haven’t heard any fireworks around here either. Yay. But we finally got rain, and a cold rain at that. Pastures should go from yellow to green when the sun comes back. Hope you get some rain too, soon. Blue looks comfy there. Love the hind foot stuck out.
