Barn cameras!

Tuesday, June 29, 2021 Many years ago we invested in a barn cam system that allowed us to share what was going on here with anyone who wanted to visit our website. My version of transparency I guess you could say. We invested thousands of dollars keeping the system up and running – with puppies chewing cords and equipment replaced as it became outdated. But finally we had to say enough when the software could not keep up with current safety issues and we were down to one outdated camera. I really missed being able to check on the animals at night or when I was away from home. So guess what we did?  Yep, we got a new system – much improved in quality and I can see all 3 cameras at once (a 4th is arriving this week). My grandson helped install it when he was here since I prefer not to climb ladders these days!  It also records every camera constantly, and the night vision is excellent.  The downside is that I can’t get it to stream on my website. (but never say never)  If I catch something awesome in a still shot or video I will share it, but for now that’s the best I can do. This makes our approaching baby season so much easier for me!  Happy Tuesday!
