They never stay long enough. 🥲

Thursday, March 4, 2021  This is a hard post to type. We lost our dear old labradoodle Ginger last night.  She was 14 and lived and long and happy life for a girl her size I know but it always breaks my heart to lose a fur kid. The only comfort is that she seemed to go peacefully in her sleep and I hope she is running with her best buddy Jack at the rainbow bridge now.  When we lost Jack in January of 2020 I knew she probably wouldn’t be with us much longer and I’m surprised she lasted more than a year without him.   Yesterday she was out barking at the air and really seemed good. The stairs were getting hard for her but she ate well all day and followed me around with the other 2 as usual. Banjo and Belle are acting subdued today, they know what happened and I think they are sad for me. Hug your dog today if you have one – they never last long enough.

Photo of the Day: Rest in peace sweet girl, I miss you so much.
