How not to be bored in winter. by Marigold

Saturday, February 27, 2021 Alpacas are very intelligent and I do believe they get bored when confined to the barn in winter. Especially at the end of winter. For the record, we don’t confine them, but the snow does.  They rub their gums on fences, have silly arguments with each other and some lucky ones find sticks. We have put other chew toys out for them, but they are very particular too, and it’s rare that they like our choices.  But Marigold found the perfect stick yesterday. I think it’s probably some kindling from our firewood stack that Blue brought over to the barn area. But it’s Marigold’s now and she’s quite happy with it.

Happy Saturday! stay well~
