Friday, February 19, 2021 More snow is expected for us today, but it’s OK, my little helper shoveled paths all over the ranch for me. He also loves “ice fishing” at the creek and using my hay sled as a “boat” on the new snow. We’ll have him here til Sunday evening and his on line school will resume Monday.
A well meaning neighbor brought Blue home yesterday morning and put him in the front yard. The neighbor didn’t know we don’t mix our dogs and Blue and Banjo got into a horrible fight. 🙁 Both boys were bloodied and moving very slowly after the event. I’m actually surprised it happened since the have been together as puppies and are fence friends every day. A delicate balance is what we have I guess and it was tipped in the wrong direction. I’m treating for possible infections and will keep a close eye on them of course. Just in case you thought it was always perfect here, we do have our mishaps too.

Oh my! I never thought about ‘mixing’ your dogs! I hope they heal quickly, spiritually and physically. And Blue got out…AGAIN?!

Dang that Blue, he goes on a walk about most mornings, climbs over the fence, comes back in about an hour. Hot wire fencing is still in the plans.
