Saturday ramblings

Saturday, February 13, 2021 It’s Saturday, it’s snowing, and I can see Blue in the pasture chewing on something. What could be better? Ed is working as hard as he can to connect the hot wire fence that we have used in the past but tree branches have grown over it and much trimming needs to be done before we can even test the parts. Maybe the snow will keep Blue here today and we’ll have a chance to get ahead of his escaping. The crazy thing is he thinks he’s doing his job. He can see that Chief and Charlotte are here with the herd, so he’s just being the scout and checking out the outlying areas. He comes back when he’s sure it’s all good.  ugh  Keep sending good thoughts that he’ll stay safe until we make this place as secure as Fort Knox.

On a more pleasant note, my next two batches of soap have been cut and are almost cured.  Cabana boys (which might be renamed Tropical Vacation) and Yuzu are making the mud room smell delightful.  I’ll have them listed in a couple of days. Happy Saturday!  stay well~

Photo of the Day:  Roxy just realized that Valentine’s Day is tomorrow.  No worries Roxy, just blow a kiss across the fence to your favorite boy. 😘

Roxy is very fashionable! And I love your perspective on what you think Blue thinks his job is as the young Scout. Cracks. Me. Up! Have I said, there is a children’s book in the works here….?
