November skies

Friday November 20, 2020  The alpacas have grown enough fleece since shearing day (June 5) that they are looking fabulous and I have no worries about upcoming cold nights. The fleeces of our little boys, all sons of Romulus are the ones I’ll be most excited to work with next year.  Ryder, Rocky, Roman and Remy won’t have the vegetation that makes baby fleeces such a challenge and it looks like they are getting lots of fleece character from their dad. Perfect. I’ve moved all 3 of my spinning wheels into the fiber studio (aka garage) and I’m getting in a spinning mood. Handspun yarn is a treasure and I hope to have some to share soon. Happy Friday and please stay well~

Photo of the day: Everyone stays closer to the barn when the pastures are brown and the hay feeders have the food.
