Happy Monday

Monday November 16, 2020  Blue skies here today and I bet we’ll lose a significant amount of our snow. But what we really need is moisture in the ground and that is where the melting snow is going, so that’s fine. Two of our males are scheduled for gelding tomorrow – Lincoln and Patton can then commiserate with Blue on stories of losing boy parts. But when the vet is here tomorrow, it will be about 50 degrees and then not even freezing over night so we will have the weather in our favor as they recover. It’s always a concern with surgery in the field. I do not schedule these things lightly, but Patton especially and Lincoln occasionally have been acting “too manly” for their own good.

Monday is the day I like to give myself a little down time, since that rarely happens over the weekend. I have a back log of on line classes I’ve signed up for and might just take a peek at those today too.  Happy Monday – stay well~

Photo of the day:  She definitely sees something! Love those forward ears.

Back in my horse riding days, the ears were always an important clue. Good luck with the gelding. I also remember seeing the horses “in the field” for castration.
