Our little escape artist

Monday November 2, 2020  Oh Blue, you made sure we got enough exercise this weekend didn’t you? Most of his escape routes this weekend involved underwater tunnels, but that just added to the fun for him. It does seem that when we are both outside he loves to find a way to expand the boundaries of his territory. We had lots of chores to get done this weekend so he had plenty of time to see us both outside. I actually lost track of how many times we had to run after him. It seems the water under the fencing just became visible with dying grasses, etc. and it looked like a grand adventure to him. We added more fencing (not the plan for the weekend but oh well) and I added an inflatable collar on his neck. So far he’s stayed home and his neuter appointment has been moved up!  I like to wait with large breeds until they are at least a year old, but just in case his testosterone is causing part of his wandering urges, we’ll take care of that asap. A good freeze will eliminate some of the problem too – coming next weekend.  But if you happen to see a big white puppy with what looks like a blue inner-tube stuck around his head, call me!   Happy Monday and stay well~

I don’t like this thing, but I’ll smile anyway.   ~Blue
